El Mukuka, Karyendasoul – “No Wasted Time” ft. Marocco, James Sakala
El Mukuka recently started working with the artists Karyendasoul and the African dance music legend Black Coffee. Together they created a feature with the renowned Zambian artist Marocco and the African jazz singer James Sakala. The duet, entitled “No Wasted Time” and vocals in English and Bemba (a traditional Zambian language) is written in a contemporary ballad format and combines African rhythms and melodies with Western songwriting elements. James Sakala’s soft traditional vocals seamlessly blend with Marocco’s characteristic, soulful sound. James Sakala has become one of Zambia’s most renowned traditional musicians and has worked with many top African artists, including the late superstar from Zimbabwe, Oliver Mtukudzi.
